Mrs. Chocolate and I have been married for almost 15 years.  We’ve been lucky to both have successful careers, especially given the fact that as a military officer we have lived in six different states, moved at least 10 times, and have had several deployments or assignments where we lived apart.  Through it all we’ve found a way to keep our finances growing and our marriage, though tested, strong.  We are chronicling our journey paying debt, investing and sharing the money lessons we've learned on our journey to financial independence to retire early (FIRE).
